Wallace Sewell Integrates With The World Options Portal to Streamline Global Shipping
British design studio Wallace Sewell has taken a major step forward in its international logistics operations by fully integrating the World Options shipping portal into its e-commerce and back-office systems. This move allows the brand to automate order fulfilment and improve efficiency across its global customer base.
Founded in 1992 by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell, Wallace Sewell has grown from a London studio into a globally recognised producer of luxury woven goods, supplying over 400 stockists in 25 countries.
The studio, with production based in a family-run textile mill in Colne, Lancashire, is known for its use of colour and geometric design. Its textiles are featured everywhere from the London Underground to New York’s MoMA.
Wallace Sewell partnered with World Options franchisee Robby Abuaita to meet rising international demand in 2023. Since then, the brand has benefited from World Options’ access to premium shipping services, including DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT, combined with competitive pricing and expert customer support.
In 2024, the company chose to take its shipping operations to the next level by integrating the World Options portal directly into its website. This integration allows orders placed through Wallace Sewell’s online shop to instantly sync with the shipping portal, automating carrier selection, shipping label generation, and customs documentation. As a result, customers benefit from quicker dispatch times and more accurate international tracking.
“When shipping items worldwide, it can be difficult for businesses to be sure they are using the best courier service for each shipment, especially when the optimum service can vary depending on each individual item and destination, “ Said Abuaita.
“World Options offers customers the opportunity to ship domestically and internationally with the likes of DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT and more, helping them choose the right option for every shipment. Our bulk-buying power means customers pay a competitive price for their shipping, whether that be for parcels, pallets, freight transport, documents or imports, either nationally or internationally.
“Crucially, we also help with paperwork to help minimise the risk of delays with customs when shipping to different territories overseas.
“Having developed a fantastic working relationship with Wallace Sewell over the last couple of years, I’m extremely pleased and proud that they have now taken the step of integrating our portal directly into their own website, syncing the online shop directly into distribution, to help maximise customer experience right through to the last mile.”
Wallace Sewell’s team no longer needs to re-enter order information or print shipping labels manually. The integration also supports automated export documentation, reducing the risk of customs delays. This is particularly useful for a business whose orders often span dozens of countries, each with different shipping requirements.
