New state-of-the-art world options headquarters opens in Accrington
The past six months have been busy here at World Options HQ, with our new office launching in Accrington, Greater Manchester, to a fantastic reception. The move was a big one for the business and will give us the perfect place from which to continue growing the World Options family. The grand opening resulted in a lot of press coverage, with media ranging from regional newspapers and trade magazines interested to see what our new premises had to offer.
See what Freight Business Journal had to say about the move, or take a look at TheBusinessDesk.com’s North West edition’s thoughts on our headquarters. The Lancashire Telegraph also came for a look, while Translogistics covered the story on their website. And those of you who live locally may have also spotted that the Accrington Observer included our launch day in the print edition of the newspaper back in June.
Commuting is the number 1 reason people work from home
Meanwhile, recruitment, business and HR press were interested in the results of a survey and infographic we ran over the summer, which looked at the main appeal behind choosing to work from home. Our survey respondents revealed that the biggest reason to quit the day job and work from home was to avoid the commute.

Franchisees in the news
Elite Franchise magazine spoke to our franchise development director, Leland Mayall, back in May, when they discussed the importance of creating the right culture within a franchise business. You can read the interview by clicking here.
Meanwhile, Making Money magazine interviewed one of our Millionaire's Row winners, Simon Douglas, to find out how he built his £1 million World Options business in less than four years. You can read the interview from Making Money magazine here which was also available in print.
Speaking of our franchise offering, SmallBusiness.co.uk spoke to another one of our franchisees, Warwick Snelgrove, to find out about the fee structure involved with being a World Options franchisee. You can read Warwick’s case study in the publication by following this link.
And finally, another World Options franchisee, Charlotte Headington, spoke to Elite Franchise magazine in September about how she runs her business alongside being a single mum. She set up the franchise with her sister, Emma, and the model allows them both to work flexible hours around their families. Read more about it on pages 46-47 of Elite Franchise’s September issue.
